
93.3 WMMR-FM’s Kathy Romano Named To Advisory Board
Kathy Romano, radio personality on 93.3 WMMR-FM’s Preston and Steve Show, has been appointed to the nonprofit Philadelphia Police Foundation’s Advisory Board, it was announced today by Maureen Rush, Board President, who is Vice President for Public Safety and Superintendent of Police at the University of Pennsylvania.
“We welcome Kathy Romano to our Advisory Board and look forward to utilizing her communication skills, community initiatives and fundraising leadership to help accelerate the efforts of the Foundation to support the men and women of the Philadelphia Police Department,” Rush said.
Romano, who is celebrating her 10th anniversary as the female voice of the Preston and Steve Show at WMMR-FM, is the founder of the Fresh Smiles Foundation and serves on the board for the M. Night Shyamalan Foundation’s “Shyamaween.” She is known for her strong support for the men and women working in law enforcement at departments and agencies throughout the Philadelphia area.
