Craig Gass Comedy Show To Benefit Police Foundation’s Police Department Bulletproof Vest Replacement Project

Tickets are now on sale for a night of comedy and fun by popular comedian/actor Craig Gass at Xfinity Live!,10th St. and Pattison Ave., in the South Philadelphia sports complex, on Friday, April 4 at 7:30 p.m. The event, presented by 93.3 WMMR-FM and Xfinity Live!, will benefit the Philadelphia Police Department and Philadelphia Police Foundation’s bulletproof vest replacement project.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the show.

“WMMR is really excited to be bringing Craig Gass to Philadelphia for what should be a night of very funny comedy routines and impersonations,” said Matt Rovine, Senior Account Manager at 93.3 WMMR. “In addition to an entertaining night out, fans will be contributing through ticket sales to the very important cause of securing new bulletproof vests for the men and women of the Philadelphia Police Department.”

The Philadelphia Police Foundation (www.phillypolicefoundation.org) as a priority item initiated the bulletproof vest replacement project recently in cooperation with Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey. The Foundation’s mission is to provide funding for equipment, programs and materials not covered in the City’s annual budget. The Foundation contributed $215,000 to the Police Department last year.

Gass is a stand-up comedian known for his impressions of celebrities. He acquired his peculiar talent of imitating characters and actors by learning to speak as a child from watching TV. Both his parents and sister are completely deaf.

Gass has appeared on numerous radio and TV shows.
