Connie Galiczynski, Chairperson of Old Kensington Senior Housing Associates, presents $100,000 to Larry Rubin (second from right), Board Director of the nonprofit Philadelphia Police Foundation, that the Foundation will use to support efforts of the Philadelphia Police Explorer Cadet Program in the East Police Division (24^th, 25^th, 26^th Police Districts). Also taking part at the St. John Neumann Center in Northern Liberties, is Capt. George Kappe (left), Commanding Officer of the 26^th District, and Cpl. Brian Coyle, head of the Explorer Cadet Program. The Philadelphia Police Explorer Cadet Program offers training to young adults ages 14 – 20 who are interested in a career in the law enforcement profession.
