Jeffrey P. McFadden elected to the Philadelphia Police Foundation Board of Directors

The nonprofit Philadelphia Police Foundation has elected Jeffrey P. McFadden, General Manager and CEO of The Union League of Philadelphia, to its Board of Directors, it was announced today by Maureen Rush, Board President, who is Vice President for Public Safety and Superintendent of Police at the University of Pennsylvania.

“We are very excited to have Jeff McFadden join our outstanding Board of Directors, as he represents yet another well-known Philadelphia proponent. Jeff and the other Directors  understand the importance of actively supporting the Philadelphia Police Foundation’s efforts to support our Philadelphia Police Department’s mission of ensuring the highest levels of safety and quality of life for residents, visitors and businesses, living, working and enjoying all that Philadelphia has to offer,” Rush said.

McFadden, a veteran of the hospitality industry, was named to head the Union League in 1998 and has led a total revitalization of the iconic club since then. A graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Management, McFadden has been honored as Club Manager of the Year by the Club Manager Association’s Philadelphia and Vicinity Chapter, National Club Association’s Council Member of the Year, and in 2012 the National Club Manager’s National Excellence in Club Management Award. Also in 2012 under McFadden’s leadership, the Union League was honored as the No.1 Platinum City Club in America.
