John K. Binswanger
As Chairman of the international commercial real estate company, Mr. Binswanger has played a leading role in the development and implementation of major building projects throughout the country for clients such as: Comcast Corporation, ARAMARK, Rohm and Haas, City of Philadelphia, and Independence Blue Cross. He is a former International President of the World Presidents’ Organization and a member of the Chief Executives’ Organization, the Philadelphia Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
Widely respected as one of the most civically minded executives in the region, Mr. Binswanger has demonstrated a sustained commitment to Greater Philadelphia by lending his time, energy and expertise to various organizations. In 1999-2000 he held the Chair of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and he was Chairman of the Police Athletic League, as well as Vice Chairman of the Center City District. He also served as General Chairman of the 1998 United Way Campaign.
Mr. Binswanger’s continued activity in civic affairs includes his dedication to the city’s Fairmount Park, serving as Fairmount Park Commissioner and as President of the Fairmount Park Conservancy. He is an emeritus trustee of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as well as the Board of the Police Foundation.
A graduate of Wesleyan University, Mr. Binswanger has four children and eleven grandchildren.
