Philadelphia Police Foundation Elects Five New Members to Board of Directors
The Philadelphia Police Foundation (PPF), an independent, nonprofit organization that provides resources to promote and maintain public safety by providing resources to the Philadelphia Police Department, has elected five new members to its Board of Directors.
Maureen Rush, Board President and Vice President for Public Safety and Superintendent of Police at the University of Pennsylvania, welcomed the following new Board members:
Paul K. Leary, Jr., attorney and firm Member in Litigation Department at Cozen O’Conner, Philadelphia.
Stephen Olitsky, CEO and President, B&B Wealth Management, LLC, Gwynedd Valley, PA
Tamar Olitsky, CEO and President, Olitsky Family Foundation, Gwynedd Valley, PA
Salvatore Patti, Senior Vice President – Commercial Banking Group Leader, PNC Financial Services Group, Philadelphia
Thomas Riley, Vice President for Strategic Planning, Connelly Foundation, West Conshohocken, PA
Last year, the Police Foundation contributed $210,000 to the Philadelphia Police Department for a host of projects, many of which were included on the Foundation’s Case for Support, a strategic three-year plan to fund important equipment and program needs as identified by Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey.
The Philadelphia Police Foundation (www.phillypolicefoundation.org) was established in 1999 by civic and corporate leaders in the Philadelphia region as “A Force Behind the Shield.” The Foundation’s primary focus is to assist the officers of the Philadelphia Police Department by funding urgently needed special programs, equipment and community endeavors not provided in the City of Philadelphia’s annual budget.
