Sean C. Edwards Elected to PPF Board

Sean C. Edwards, President of the Rittenhouse Communications Group in Philadelphia, has been elected to the board of directors of the nonprofit Philadelphia Police Foundation.

Safety and Superintendent of Police at the University of Pennsylvania. “I know Sean’s interest in the safety of our city and advancing the quality of life for all of our residents will motivate him to be an active and supportive participant on our board.”

Edwards, a resident of the city’s Bella Vista section, is a member of the SS United States Conservancy and the Pennsylvania Ballet Community Engagement Committee. He also has served on the Caring People Alliance, the Queen Village Neighborhood Association and the Friends of the South Street Police Mini Station.

The Philadelphia Police Foundation ( was created in 1999 as an independent, nonprofit organization with the mission of providing funding to the Philadelphia Police Department for important and much needed equipment, training and programs not included in the city’s budget. During its 19-year history, the Foundation has provided the men and women of the Philadelphia Police Department with several million dollars in funding. The Foundation’s board of directors consists of volunteers from a broad spectrum of business and professional leaders from the greater Philadelphia region.
