WMMR’s Preston & Steve served up their own Gadzooks Ice Cream in support of the Philadelphia Police Foundation’s Police Appreciation Month event at Reading Terminal Market. With the generous support of Gadzooks creator, Bassetts Ice Cream, Preston & Steve helped raise more than $2,500 for the Philadelphia Police Foundation and their fundraising campaign to bring the Mounted Police Horse Unit back to the streets of Philadelphia. Bassetts, America’s oldest ice cream company, generously donated 25% of sales of the Preston & Steve flavors for the months of October and November. They donated 100% of their sales on November 1st when Preston and Steve stopped by to scoop up support themselves.
