Night For Blue Postponed

March 18, 2020

Due to the unprecedented circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Philadelphia Police Foundation’s Executive Committee has made the decision to POSTPONE our annual Night For Blue until later this year. We are working on securing a new date and will share that, once confirmed, in the coming weeks. As the Philadelphia Police Foundation, our Board and our Partners continue to navigate this constantly changing environment we thank you for your patience and understanding.

In this pandemic while many will have the ability to work from home, the officers of the Philadelphia Police Department, as well as doctors, nurses, first responders, firefighters and those working at grocery stores, post offices and other mandatory business will not have that luxury. The Philadelphia Police will report to work each and every day regardless of the coronavirus risks to ensure the safety of our city. Please remember and support them during this unsettling time. We look forward to recognizing and celebrating our honoree,  Joe Coradino, and the courage and service of the men and women of PPD at Night for Blue later this year. In the meantime, should you have any questions, please reach out to our Executive Director, Eric Cushing at 484-433-6201.
